In this lifetime, I think the females will never be able to comprehend the males and vice versa.
But one thing I've learnt, guys are constantly on the move. If they don't get what they want, then there'd be a change of target and there's no looking back for them. They only play the nice guy so they can have someone to fall back on, bored or likewise ; they don't mind remaining as friends.
They make really good human blankets to warm you up when you're freezing, but on the extreme, they can be really cold at times. So cold even a poor little girl baking in the sun can still feel that pang, even an open ended question receives no reply at all and yet you know, they're somewhere out there alive and having the time of their life.
You feel just like a tiny ant, at the mercy of them.
But no, you mustn't let yourself fall into such a sticky situation. You must be strong. Even when playing with fire, one must ensure that certain mindsets are in place and should not be wavered upon, no leeways, no loopholes, no giving in.
We're still young with at least another three quarters of our live to live through and plenty of other important issues to deal with. Why bother ourselves with such miniscule setbacks? We still have all the time in the world to deal with it, almost.
After all, there's no one person who doesn't make use of others in one way or another, consciously or otherwise.
Once bitten, twice shy. Not bitten, nothing to worry about. :D
